WTC 2025-27: Complete Schedule of the Upcoming World Test Championship Cycle Series

WTC 2025-27: South Africa defeated Australia by five wickets in the final at Lord’s, London, to win their first WTC trophy and ICC trophy since 1998, capping the 2023–25 cycle of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC).

Sri Lanka will host Bangladesh in two Test matches to begin the 2025–27 WTC cycle. The format for the forthcoming tournament is still the same: each team will play six series of various lengths, three at home and three away. The standings are based on PCT (percentage of points won) to account for the different amount of games each team played over the two-year period.

In the most recent WTC cycle, all nine teams will play six Test series, three at home and three away. With 22 games planned, Australia has the busiest schedule of any team. England, on the other hand, will play 21 games in the most recent cycle. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will each play 12 games, which is the fewest of any squad. In the meantime, the WTC 2025–27 cycle will see 18 matches for India and 14 matches for the reigning champions, South Africa.
