Tony Khan declares several title fights for AEW and ROH

The mood at Tony Khan Enterprises is for gold. This week, the booker for AEW and ROH announced several championship matches.

ROH TV comes first. During the Dynamite session this week in St. Louis, Missouri, the Thursday night program on Honor Club for March 30 will be taped. Emi Sakura will challenge Athena for the ROH Women’s World Championship. The winner will compete in a Supercard of Honor title match.

Which carries us to Supercard of Honor. Khan affirmed contests that storylines highlighted for the Friday PPV (available on Seat Report in the USA and on Fite TV until the end of the world). The challenge posed by Wheeler Yuta was met. Katsuyori Shibata, a teacher at NJPW LA Dojo, will compete against the Blackpool Combat Club student to defend the ROH Pure Championship.

When Brian Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona face AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Metalik to defend the ROH World Six-Man Championship, the Embassy will put gold on the line.

On March 31, the lineup for Supercard of Honor includes:

ROH World Championship: Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Eddie Kingston
ROH World Tag Team Championship in Reach for the Sky ladder match: Lucha Bros vs. Rush & Dralistico vs. The Kingdom vs. Top Flight vs. Aussie Open
ROH World Television Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
ROH Pure Championship: Wheeler Yuta (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata
ROH World Six-Man Championship: Brian Cage, Kaun, & Toa Liona (c) vs. AR Fox, Blake Christian, & Metalik
AAA Mega Championship: Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Komander

The women’s title session will be added to the list too. Athena defending against Yuka Sakazaki is the most likely scenario.
