Kyrgyzstan Hosts the Start of Division III of the Ice Hockey World Championship

The Ice Hockey World Championship’s third division’s group A matches got underway here on Sunday.

Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, South Africa, Luxembourg, Turkmenistan, and Thailand are the six teams competing in the Kyrgyz capital.

The top team advances to Group B’s second division, while the bottom team drops to Group B’s third division.

Opening day results included South Africa’s 6-3 victory over Mexico, Luxembourg’s 4-3 victory over Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan’s 9-4 loss to Thailand.

Saturday is the last day of the competition.
