Women’s world boxing championships delayed amid a pandemic

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — The women’s world boxing championships are delayed from next month to March 2022 owing to restrictions in situ amid the coronavirus pandemic, the International Boxing Association said.

AIBA same late weekday that groups were finding it tough to contend at the historically amateur world championships in Turkey, that area unit providing an award for the primary time, with $100,000 on supply for gold medalists.

“The feedback received is that too several National Federations face tough things and restrictions inside their countries,” AIBA same.
