Timothee Chalamet Surprises Dune Cast With Football Club Support, Sings Club’s Song; Video Emerges

Hollywood actor Timothee Chalamet has declared his support for Saint-Etienne. Prior to the release of the next Dune movie, Chalamet made an appearance on French television. The cast was taken aback and confused when he sang their anthem and was given Saint-Etienne’s scarf.

The resident of Los Angeles disclosed that he got his father’s love of Saint-Etienne from him. Chalamet even pleaded with the TV hosts to upload highlights from the Ligue 2 on YouTube a little more quickly.

Rich in tradition, Saint-Etienne is tied with Olympique Lyon for the third-most trophies won by any club in French football history.

Only two teams have won as many trophies as Olympique de Marseille (27) and Paris Saint-Germain (48). But as of right now, Saint-Etienne is ranked seventh in the second division of France and plays in League 2.

Timothee Chalamet has a soft spot for Chelsea as well

One of the most well-known faces in Hollywood right now is Timothee Chalamet. On the other hand, the French-American actor is an avid football fan.

Chalamet supports Chelsea in the Premier League, but Saint-Etienne is his favorite team. Matt Lucas, Chalamet’s co-host in Wonka, disclosed that they were unable to talk about football at work since they had opposing teams to root for.
