Stars of the Open returns to Flushing Meadows for the third year in a row, some of the greatest players from the past and present will be competing in the highly anticipated exhibition matches. The 2025 Stars of the Open will be held in Arthur Ashe Stadium on Thursday, August 21.
Eight-time Grand Slam singles champion Andre Agassi, teenage tennis sensation Joao Fonseca, and 2023 US Open champion Coco Gauff will all be competing.
John McEnroe and Venus Williams, the seven-time Grand Slam women’s singles champion, are among the others. American wheelchair athletes Dana Mathewson and Casey Ratzlaff, as well as former US Open champions Andry Roddick and Juan Martin del Potro, will join them.
Along with the tennis players competing against some well-known celebrities, fans can expect some surprises. Although no names have been given, in the past, players like multiplatinum music singer Sebastian Yatra and NBA great Jimmy Buter have played doubles with Frances Tiafoe and Carlos Alcaraz.
