Shaq endeavored to congratulate Giannis Antetokounmpo on DPOY by communicating in Greek, failed

Shaquille O’Neal attempted. He truly did.

However, tragically, the Big Aristotle didn’t satisfy his nickname … at least at first.

Giannis Antetokounmpo won the 2020 Defensive Player of the Year award and joined Inside the NBA to talk with the team, so Shaq took a stab at congratulating the Milwaukee Bucks whiz by talking the center’s native Greek to him.

As you’ll see, it went poorly. Antetokounmpo looked very confused for a second — and man, look becomes an image during the NBA playoffs! — before illuminating O’Neal he kind of got him. The entire sequence was along these lines, so great.

However, this is an account of reclamation, since Charles Barkley challenged O’Neal to pronounce the Greek Freak’s last name correctly. On the off chance that he did, Barkley would give $10,000 to Antetokounmpo’s charity.
