Rockets-Thunder series, delayed by Jacob Blake fight, to continue Saturday

The NBA season, including the Rockets’ first-round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, will continue Saturday on the NBA’s Central Florida campus, an individual with information on the NBA plans said on Thursday.

The NBA delayed games on Thursday following the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision not to play their game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, provoking conversations among the Rockets and different teams planned to mess around finding a way to dissent in the wake of the shooting of Jacob Black, a 29-year-old Black man in Kenosha, Wis.

The Rockets practiced on Thursday with guard Russell Westbrook partaking. Westbrook was recorded as questionable to play on Wednesday, however was going to test his stressed crotch in pregame warmups with the expectation of playing. The Rockets are scheduled to practice again on Friday.

The series with the Thunder is tied, 2-2, after the Thunder had rebounds in Games 3 and 4 to even the series. Westbook still can’t seem to play in the postseason and played in only four of the eight seeding games on account of the injury.
