Lord’s will Host the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup Final

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final will take place at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC). On July 5, the 10th edition of the T20 World Cup will see its championship match.

The 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup will start on June 12 and run for 24 days, with 33 matches played before the championship match at Lord’s.

The ninth Women’s T20 World Cup was played in the United Arab Emirates last year, and ten nations competed. After beating South Africa in the championship match, New Zealand was declared the winners.

In 2017, the final of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup between India and England was held at Lord’s.

The Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Headingley Cricket Ground, Edgbaston Stadium, Hampshire Bowl, The Oval, and the Bristol County Ground are the other six locations for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in addition to the Lord’s.

Eight nations have already confirmed their spots; the final four will be chosen in a Women’s T20 World Cup qualifier next year.

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 hosting rights were granted to England and Wales in 2022, and the seven host locations were chosen after a number of criteria were evaluated.

Some of the biggest names in British women’s sport, including England rugby player Ellie Kildunne, England head coach Charlotte Edwards, and England players Tammy Beaumont, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, and Lauren Bell, will be present at the tournament’s official launch at Lord’s.
