Jimmy Hayes, Dorchester native, former Boston College, Bruins hockey player, dies at 31

Jimmy Hayes, who won a public hockey title at Boston College and played seven seasons in the NHL, has kicked the bucket. He was 31.

A law authorization official said surgeons on Monday were called to the Hayes home in the Boston rural areas, where he was articulated dead. No different subtleties were revealed.

Jimmy Hayes played 334 games in the NHL and had 54 objectives and 55 helps. He likewise played for the Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins, and New Jersey Devils.

He last played expertly in 2019 and had been a co-host of a web recording called “Missin Curfew.”
