Cricket IPL 2024

IPL 2019 : 3 openers to look out for in this year’s IPL:

David Warner

Orange cap holder 2015 and 2017

He is a phenomenal player who started the IPL-2019 on to the bang. Coming back from the fixing scandal, he didn’t play any level of competitive cricket for the past one year. It would be quite hard for him mentally to come and perform and justify his reputation. But as soon as he came back, he whacks 85 runs in his first match and is looking very dangerous thus is high on confidence. He won the orange cap in 2015 and 2017. He is one of those players who likes to dominate the opposition, and that’s what makes him as destructive as any other player.

Warner’s presence could help Sunrisers Hyderabad to clinch the title as his availability at the top of the order will be very crucial.

Jos Butler

He started the IPL-2019 with an incredible inning. He blasted 69 runs and then got out bizarre. He had the mind-boggling last season. He scored 548 runs in the last season and also performed consistently in every match. He will again be very imperative for Rajasthan Royals. He always gave them quick starts with fancy shots, powerful striking, natural technique and all these things made him the best striker. They are heavily dependent on him, and thus far he didn’t disappoint them. His current is indispensable for the RR. He would leave in the later stages of the season and therefore he will be looking to score as many runs as possible and help his team to reach the playoffs. He would look to carry his form and support his team to get over the line.

K.L.Rahul

With scores of 4 and 1 in his first two matches tells us how hard it is going to be for him in the whole season. Well, he is an established player and one of the real talents, thus will be looking to turn around his bad form.

This season is going to be more challenging and important for him as he still needs to prove himself for the back-up opener in the World Cup.

Punjab’s batting revolves around him as he is the leader in their line-up and the ‘’go to’’ man.

Can he get back to his old scintillating form? He has the potential to be the best, and he will surely look to grab this chance.
