Daniel Jones, the Giants receivers, caught fire in camp after a rough start

going long
After a rough start to camp, Daniel Jones caught fire. During a practice that emphasized third-and-10 or longer play calls, Jones completed 14 of 18 passes with two touchdowns during live drills. The receivers showed up for Jones, with Darius Slayton throwing a deep jump ball, Saquon Barkley moving his body to the side and annual training-camp stud David Sills making five catches.

No touch!
Brian Daboll lost his cool as multiple pass-rushers apparently yelled “Don’t touch!” The meaning of the red practice jersey on the quarterback. OLB Oshane Ximines was criticized the most for coming too close to wiping out Jones. No. 3 QB Davis Webb gets bumped in the leg while rolling through the pocket.

Caught my eye
A day after he was questioned about having just three career interceptions in 59 games, CB Adoree’ Jackson had two picks of Jones passes, including a 100-yard return in one game. Jackson ran down the sideline to check on the injured receiver before the coaches arrived, showing leadership.

Medical reports
Rookie S Den Belton (broken collarbone) will not require surgery, according to Daboll. C John Feliciano (heat exhaustion) returned to the sideline, but missed his fourth straight practice. RB Antonio Williams limped back one play later and then rolled his knee. WR Robert Foster was carted off the field after falling to the ground making a mid-air catch and trying to fumble at first as the wind got away from him.
