Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 captain Ashu Malik will remain with Dabang Delhi KC, the team confirmed Thursday. Malik, who is only 22, has become one of the league’s youngest and most reliable leaders. He is now the mainstay of Delhi’s offense after leading the team the previous season and leading the scoring statistics with the most raid points. On and off the mat, he is respected for his powerful performances and composed demeanor.
Retaining Malik as head coach shows continuity and faith for a team that has advanced to the playoffs six times in a row. The team seems committed to combining stability with a desire for a championship as it enters Season 12.
The Gujarat Giants will begin their campaign against U Mumba at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium the following day as the 12th edition of the competition gets underway in Vizag on August 29.
The PKL season 8 championship went to Dabang Delhi. It finished second in the standings with 13 wins and 81 points last season, setting a new record for the longest winning run of the season.
