Against American, hosted Navy men’s and women’s both basketball games

Navy people’s b-ball will host American at Alumni Hall on Saturday and Sunday as the Patriot League keeps on adjusting plans in the midst of the pandemic.

No explanation was accommodated the change, yet a Navy sports news release says it was made “in consultation with Patriot League officials and American University.” The league plan was set up to have Saturday and Sunday home-and-home challenges.

Navy men’s basketball, which cleared one more end of the week consecutive with height to improve to 4-0 league play, will tip around early afternoon Saturday and Sunday. The ladies’ group, which hasn’t played a meeting game yet due to Covid issues, will play the two games at 3 p.m.

Both Navy projects will play at American Feb. 6 and 7.

Navy home wrestling match against Lehigh will be pushed back 30 minutes Saturday night from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
