The first-ever NBA regular-season game in Germany will be played on January 15 at the Uber Arena in Berlin.
On January 15, 2026, the Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic will play in Berlin. Three days later, they will play again in London.
This European series coincides with a growing interest in the NBA throughout Europe and reflects the league’s expanding worldwide reach. Both the Grizzlies’ and the Magic’s upcoming European games will be their fifth and sixth, respectively.
In addition to the Magic’s third trip back to London, both teams will be playing their first-ever games in Berlin.
Additionally, the NBA revealed intentions to hold regular-season games in Paris and Manchester in 2027 and Berlin and Paris once more in 2028. In the future, precise dates and teams will be revealed.
Brothers Franz and Moritz Wagner, who both play for the Orlando Magic, will return to their hometown for the Berlin game.
The Washington Wizards and New York Knicks played the last of the NBA’s nine regular season games in London in 2019.
Paris, Mexico City, and Tokyo have also hosted NBA regular season games in the past.
The announcement is part of a larger trend in which American sports are moving regular season games to Europe in an effort to expand their reach.
