Indian men’s A team, consisting of 20 players, was confirmed by Hockey India on Tuesday for an exposure tour to Europe that will include eight games from July 8-22.
India is One squad will play England and Belgium, and another team will face France, the Netherlands, and Ireland twice each.
On July 8, the ‘A’ team will play their inaugural match against Ireland, with Shivendra Singh, assistant coach of the Indian national team, serving as coach.
The team will be captained by Sanjay, while Moirangthem Rabichandra Singh will be his deputy. Speaking about the tour, Shivendra Singh said, “This tour is an important platform for our players to experience the tempo, structure, and intensity of European hockey. We have selected a squad that balances potential and experience, and I am confident this tour will be immensely beneficial in grooming the next batch of international players for India.”

Midfielders: Vishnukant Singh, Pardeep Singh, Rajinder Singh, Moirangthem Rabichandra Singh (vc), Mohammed Raheel Mouseen, and Poovanna Chandura Boby.
Forwards: Maninder Singh, Venkatesh Kenche, Aditya Arjun Lathe, Selvam Karthi, Uttam Singh, Boby Singh Dhami, and Angadbir Singh.
Standbys: Sudeep Chirmako (forward), Sunil Jojo (defender), and Ankit Malik (goalkeeper).
