2024 African Nations Championships in 2025: Live Streaming Detail

Men’s football competition exclusive to players competing in their nations’ domestic leagues, the postponed 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024), will begin on Saturday, August 2, 2025, and last through August 30, 2025.

Five locations in four cities across the three co-hosting countries of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda will hold the competition.

With a record-breaking 19 teams in the group stage—the most in CHAN history—this year’s tournament, the eighth edition, will host its opening match at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and its final match at Moi International Sports Center in Nairobi, Kenya.

The top two teams from each of the four groups three have five teams, one has four move on to the quarterfinals.

Which groups are participating in CHAN 2024?

  • GROUP A: DR Congo, Zambia, Morocco, Angola, and Kenya
  • GROUP B: Central African Republic, Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Mauritania, and Tanzania
  • GROUP C: South Africa, Guinea, Algeria, Niger, and Uganda
  • GROUP D: Nigeria, Sudan, Congo, and Senegal
