The Eagles announced some roster moves after the Cowboys game

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced some deals Tuesday afternoon. Overview:

OG Isaac Seumalo and S K’Von Wallace were taken to the injured reserve.
T / G Jack Driscoll and CB Joshiya Scott, both of whom are on the IR, started their 21-day practice window.
TE Richard Rogers was dropped from the practice team.
Let’s classify it on a player-by-player basis.

ISAAC SEUMALO
According to the team, Semalo is out for the season due to Lisfrank’s injury. It’s hard for the Eagles to lose their left defender. Especially after losing their initial right guard in the past and starting left handling, the latter can come sooner rather than later.

Speaking at his postgame press conference, Jason Kelsey became emotional about Siumalo’s injury. The veteran center has often argued that Seumallo is a low-ranking member of the team

Nate Herbig is currently the top candidate to replace Seumalo in the starting lineup. He paid for Seumalo on Monday night and has experience under his belt since starting 12 in 2020.

K’One Wallace
Wallace’s shoulder injury will not require surgery. He is expected to lose three to six games. His absence makes the Eagles even thinner in safety. Philly could really get Rodney McLeod back this week. Even if he comes back, they can afford to add more depth to the back end. One possible option is to promote Elijah Riley to the roster.

Jack Driscoll
After enduring pectoral stress, Driscoll began the season on IR. He is now eligible to be active as three weeks have passed. The Eagles could evaluate Driscoll in practice this week and see if he is potentially ready to play in Sunday’s game. He could be the top backup on the right guard behind London Dickerson. Also a potential top backup in the right hand behind Lane Johnson.

Josiah Scott
Scott started the season on the IR after a hamstring injury in the Eagles ’pre-season final. The return of Scott gives the Eagles more room on the Nickels Cornerback. He can also help special teams.

Richard Rogers
The Eagles brought back the Dick Rod after Zac Ertz went on the reserve / covid-1 list early last week. With Ertz back on the roster, they no longer need Rogers as an emergency upgrade option. His departure vacated the practice team space.
