IPL 2019: Conclusions of Phase 1

As far as the IPLs are concerned they never fail us to entertain in any aspect of the game, be in fielding, batting or bowling. But every IPL has their own memories and moments which can differ from person to person. Let’s talk about this IPL only, someone’s favorite can be Alzari Joseph 6-for, Chennai Super Kings 1 run loss against Royal Challengers Banglore, the tragic win of Mumbai Indians against Chennai Super Kings or Shane Watson innings with bleeding knees. We all have our favorites.

But apart from this, we all need to focus on the aspects which are going to be helpful for Indian cricket and world cricket as well. We need to analyze the performances of the youngster like Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Riyan Parag, Shreyas Gopal, Shreyas Iyer, and others and at the same time we need to look at the performances of the Senior Indian team members Like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Vibrant Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Jasprit Bumrah, Kedar Jadhav and many more.

In this section, we will mainly focus on the performances and the chances given to the youngsters and how they utilized them. We need to understand which player is perfect in which slot or in which department of the game.

Talking firstly about the opening order, we start with Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill, who performed reasonably well for they’re respective teams. But at the same time, Prithvi showed a bit inconsistency in the opening slot instead of the number of chances given to him.

Here comes the middle order now, which looks very good with the dependable shoulders of Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant. Iyer led DC to the qualifiers and Pant did a great job behind the wickets and performed reasonably well with the bat too. Now the lower middle-order, where the young lad Riyan Parag showed some great sort of skills with bat and the bowl for Rajasthan Royals. At the same time his senior teammate, Shreyas Gopal made a triumph by dismissing the key players of the opposition by his superb leg spin bowling.

All these results definitely conclude that the future of Indian Cricket Team is in very safe hands with some great piece of talents in the domestic circuit.
