Devin Booker, and Carl-Anthony Towns are eligible for the Super Max extension

Devin Booker and Carl-Anthony Towns each have two years left on their current contract but now they deserve to add more years and dollars to their deals. Named to the All-NBA Team, both Booker and Towns are eligible for the so-called Super Max Contract Extension as designated players.

Estimated extensions will begin in the 2024-25 season and the first year’s salary will be $ 47.1 million. In total, both Booker and Towns are eligible to add four years and nearly $ 211 million to their deals.

Booker was named to the All-NBA First Team at the Guard position, while Towns was named to the center of the All-NBA Third Team. Which team they made is irrelevant, as simply naming an All-NBA is enough to qualify for the designated player status.
