Broncos agrees to a three-year, 30 million deal with D.J. Jones

The Broncos have a three-year, 30 million defensive tackle DJ. Jones, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday. Jones will receive a ह 20 million full guarantee.

The 49ers selected Jones for the sixth round from the Wet Miss in 2017. He made a total of 56 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, three quarterback hits, two sacks, one pass defended and two forced fumbles in 17 games last season. For the first time in five seasons, Jones appeared in each game.

Jones acted on 550 defensive snaps, which was 51 percent of the team’s defensive snaps.

Jones, 27, played 61 games in San Francisco with 46 starts. He recorded 126 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, nine quarterback hits, seven sacks, three pass defenses and three fumbles in his career.

He is ranked 44th in PFT’s Top-100 Free Agent Rankings.
