Ohio State baseball declares fall 2019 timetable

The Ohio State baseball crew is still months from getting things cranking when things defrost after the winter, yet it’s hoping to get a few games added to its repertoire before it cannot get outside — in any event without dodging sleet.

This week the Buckeye baseball crew reported its fall plan, and the great new is that they can get in on the activity with the expectation of complimentary when games are played at Bill Davis Stadium.

The Ohio State baseball crew has booked a couple of fall games to plan for the 2020 season. The Buckeyes, who are amidst fall practice, will play one game at home at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium and another at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio.

Ohio State is set to open its fall record against Dayton at 1 p.m. Sunday in Columbus before a 2 p.m. challenge against Western Carolina Oct. 13 at Prasco Park. After the finish of their two-game fall plan, the Buckeyes will play their yearly Scarlet and Gray arrangement beginning Oct. 17. Dates and times for those games are below. Admission to all fall games at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium is free.

Oct. 17 – 6 p.m.

Oct. 19 – 3 p.m.

Oct. 20 – 2 p.m.

Ohio State returns 21 letterwinners from the 2019 Big Ten Tournament championship team. The Buckeyes, whose 36 successes in 2019 were the second-most in head coach Greg Beals’ nine seasons in Columbus, welcome back six beginning position players and every one of the three end of the week starters while attempting to expand on their third NCAA Regional appearance in the last four seasons.
