Indian Premier League 2019 – DAY 22 – MATCH 28: Kings XI Punjab vs Royal Challengers Bangalore- Match Preview and Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips

The second match of the day is between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab. Royal Challengers Bangalore has lost every match in the league till now. If they lose today’s game then it will be seven consecutive losses against seven different teams, quite a record. Kings XI Punjab has won 4 out of the 7 games. They lost their last game to Mumbai Indians even after scoring 197 runs, KXIP batted really well in that game but their bowlers lost their line and length.

How do you define Royal Challengers Bangalore? Only one word: Unfortunate. Unfortunate in every part of the game. They are not doing things as one unit and every aspect seems to be scattered here and there. There is no such thing called the biggest let down for them because every player has performed miserably. But there is some silver lining in the form of Yuzvendra Chahal who has taken 9 wickets at an average of 18.33. Mohammad Siraj is injured and probably will not play today’s game. Dale Steyn has been added to the squad in place of injured Nathan Coulter-Nile. But Steyn will not be available for today’s game.

For Kings XI Punjab, KL Rahul has performed very well and so does their other batsman too. But their bowling has been a point of discussion. Apart from the match against Delhi Capitals where Sam Curran took a hattrick no other game comes up where they have bowled perfectly. Talking of Sam Curran, apart from the first game, we have not seen anything from him in the recent matches.
Before the start of the league, Varun Chakravarthy was a huge asset for them but he has played just one game for them. Andrew Tye was last year’s purple cap holder but he also failed to deliver this season. This season even Punjab’s middle order is performing well, which didn’t happen in the last few seasons. Hence, bowling is the only department where they need to work and work a lot.

Punjab has fewer problems to tackle then Bangalore and the game is also in Mohali so Punjab’s chances of winning this game are high.
